Research
Interests: How developments in quantitative psychology can best be utilized to advance empirical work in psychology, human development, and other social sciences. Recent projects have focused on the measurement of visual attention in older adults, the methodological barriers to examining longitudinal changes in cognition, and innovative applications of multilevel modeling for within-person experimental designs. I teach graduate courses and intensive workshops on advanced quantitative methods, such as latent trait measurement models and multilevel modeling, and I have written a textbook on longitudinal analysis!
